Following the path of our founder, Blessed Nicholas Barre, who believed in the importance of education for children, that will empower them to grow into positive, mature, responsible adults. We are thankful for like-minded supporters who have generously contributed to IJHCC Bursary Award. As of 2025, It is renamed as CHIJSC Bursary Award.
Launched in 2019, this Annual Award is aimed at benefitting primary and secondary students from our current and recently graduated cohort of students from SCC (Student Care Centre), our various community outreaches, and their siblings. We have extended the Award to the 11 CHIJ schools. The number of awards has grown from 32 to more than 400.
Organisations such as the Catholic Business Network, our sister organisation under Caritas Singapore (the social service arm of the Singapore Catholic Church), has given generously to sponsor the Bursary Award. This donation is awarded to qualified students who demonstrate character and dedicated commitment in their academic journey.
